Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments to maintain strict infection control standards.
Assist dentists during procedures by passing instruments, operating suction, and ensuring patient comfort.
Manage clinical records, update patient charts, and accurately record treatment details.
Take and process digital radiographs and intraoral images as required and per local regulations.
Provide chairside support and clear explanations to patients about procedures and aftercare.
Support reception staff with patient bookings, confirmations, and basic administrative tasks when needed.
Ensure inventory is maintained and request supplies to avoid disruption to clinical services.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
Certification or formal training as a Dental Assistant or equivalent experience in an Australian dental setting.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and Australian dental practice standards.
Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and work efficiently in a busy clinic.
Experience with dental practice management software is preferred.

The practice is located inside a medical hub in Gledswood Hills, a growing suburb in south west Sydney.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
