Newnham Dental & Cosmetics is seeking a dedicated, organized and passionate individual to join our front-line team as a Patient Coordinator with key administrative responsibilities.
We’re seeking a proactive team member who cares about enhancing patient experiences, providing excellent patient centred-care, and helping patients achieve their dental health goals. This position is ideal for any experienced individuals in the dental field who wants to take on more responsibilites and play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our practice. Previous experience in a dental setting is required.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage patient bookings: Confirm appointments, reschedule, and address cancellations to ensure smooth operations.
Handle patient inquiries: Provide accurate information, assist with bookings, and ensure coordination with the clinical team.
Serve as a liaison: Facilitate clear communication between patients and dentists, ensuring that treatment plans and financial details are understood.
Coordinate treatment plans: Schedule and organize procedures effectively, ensuring patients are fully informed.
Provide detailed treatment explanations: Discuss proposed treatments, procedures, and financial options with patients.
Follow-up post-treatment: Ensure patient satisfaction, adherence to future appointments, and assist with ongoing treatment inquiries.
Build patient rapport: Check in with patients, address treatment or booking inquiries, and follow up on recommended treatments.
Encourage patient retention: Maintain regular communication with patients to ensure long-term relationships and trust.
