Dental Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and proficiency in dental office procedures. Familiarity with dental software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Handle phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations and patient flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a medical or dental office is preferred.
Proficiency in using phone systems and dental software is advantageous.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external partners in a professional manner.
