Our District’s Oral Health (Dental) services are provided to eligible patients at the following locations: Nepean Centre for Oral Health, Blue Mountains Hospital Dental Clinic, Hawkesbury Dental Clinic, and the Lithgow Hospital Dental Clinic. The team offers public dental services including diagnosis, restorative and preventative treatments, pain relief and dentures.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Technician to join our team at Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. In this role, you will pursue dental technical work of a consistently high standard, ensuring all assigned work is completed accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of both general and specialist dental care, contributing to high-quality outcomes for patients across the district. What you will bring to the role
Diploma of Dental Technology conducted by NSW TAFE or an equivalent course in Dental Technology.
Demonstrated experience with all aspect of acrylic denture work.
Demonstrated level of competency in the exercise of all the skills of the recognised training in accordance with the position requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other members of the dental team.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Commitment to learning and participation in training and self-development.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
