Position Title: Removable Denture Technician
Position Overview
As a denture technician, your skill set should include the ability to fabricate bite blocks and custom trays; repair and reline existing dentures with precision; finish and polish night guards and retainers. Preference will be give to candidates that also can perform wax-ups, try-ins and finishing of dentures - we are willing to advance the skills of someone with a desire to learn in these areas.
Along with regular work, you will have to be familiar with general denture equipment maintenance and tools.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Ability to fabricate bite blocks, custom trays, repair and reline existing dentures, finish and polish Night Guard an Retainers
Understanding of facial anatomy, teeth occlusion, jaw function, dental anatomy
Understanding of dental materials, dental equipment
Understanding of digital dental workflows
Ability to read and understand dental prescriptions
Ability to follow directions and communicate through written and verbal methods
Ability to communicate with dentists regarding cases in the laboratory
