JOB TITLE: DEPARTMENT MANAGER-MBO
Reports to: STORE MANAGER
Role Objective:
Maintain the general operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly, cleanly and meets any budget or sales goals
Principal Accountabilities:
• Training, supervising the staff
• Assigns duties to Team and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations
• Managing budgets
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Hitting sales targets and maximizing profitability
• Forecasting future sales
• Promoting and marketing the business
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints
• Overseeing pricing and stock control
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Preparing promotional materials and displays
Education:
• Graduate/ Post Graduate in any stream
• Above 25 years of age
Experience:
• 5-10 years of experience from Luxury Apparel Brands as a Department Manager
Skill Set:
• Presentable
• Effective verbal and listening communications skills
