Hiring for Deputy Chief Engineer
Location – Mumbai
Industry – Hospitality, Catering
Notice Period – Immediate to 30 Days
Support the Chief Engineer in managing day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations to ensure smooth functioning of equipment, infrastructure readiness, and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
8+ years of professional experience post-qualification
Experience in facility management, preferably in hospitality, catering, or manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other engineering systems
Familiarity with local codes, HACCP, safety norms, and statutory compliance requirements
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility to work in shifts and handle on-call duties as required
Assist in the execution and monitoring of preventive and planned maintenance schedules.
Supervise contractors and ensure that all job orders are carried out with safety and precautionary measures in place.
Assist in obtaining and analyzing quotations and technical proposals from vendors.
Support the planning and allocation of engineering resources for routine operations and special tasks.
Monitor discipline, productivity, and attendance of maintenance staff and ensure effective departmental administration.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure all equipment and utilities are operational with minimal downtime.
Maintain effective liaison with statutory authorities and utility service providers, as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
Ensure that all necessary licenses, statutory documents, and NOCs are current and updated.
Maintain engineering checklists and ensure compliance with HACCP and other quality assurance standards.
Assist in tracking maintenance
