Roles Responsibilities
• To modify models, oversee calculations and generation of results for Valuation and Reporting activities in order to produce reports for the Management to analyse.
• Managing junior team members on a task by task basis.
• The role involves overseeing and performing of routine Business Plan calculations using extensive knowledge of Excel, and AXIS.
• The job holder would be required to manage junior members of the staff for tasks assigned to him/her.
• The role also requires the job holder to create simple models and / or modify existing models as per need with limited guidance.
• Key Challenges for the role Managing a quick turn around on the task Anticipating and managing problems and the time taken for the task Balancing work and studies and passing actuarial exams
• Digesting large amounts of information and being able to recognize key items quickly
• Developing and implementing new ideas to improve individual work methods
