Key Responsibilities:
Lead the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Coordinate the processing of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.
Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and sales tax compliance.
Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvements.
Build and manage relationships with vendors, resolving any issues that may arise.
Run the month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Month End books closing and Expenses provisioning.
Provide support for audits and other financial reporting requirements.
Manage the treasury team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to treasury operations, including tax, legal, and accounting regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other collaborators to ensure access to financing and support.
Handle Bank Reconciliations on a weekly basis.
Compliance to MSME regulation and interest provisioning.
Attention to details, accuracy
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Strong communication (spoken and written) skills in English
