Description
Responsible for Compliance Reviews /Audit, Implementation of Regulatory compliance related to Insurance Act, IRDAI and other governing bodies.
• Regulations/circular/guideline in various functions/departments of the organization.
• Responsible for implementation of IRDAI Inspection and penalty orders and prepare and update of Compliance checklist Imparting regulatory training to stakeholders and circulating regulatory updates.
• Regulatory Review of various functions and department with reference to the regulation/circular/guideline applicable to that specific department /function Responsible for over all Distribution Compliance (Agent, Corporate agent, Distance Marketing, etc.).
• Product related compliance, Advertisement compliance Providing Regulatory
• Suggestion on Process Manual of various departments.
• Maintenance of repository for IRDAI, circulars.
• Regulation guideline and Penalty orders Monitor File and Use updates provided to IRDAI and coordinate with departments in case of any deviations.
• Prepare gist of the draft guidelines updated by IRDAI and ******** the concerned department and management.
• Ensuring reply to IRDAI (with our comments) timely filing of IRDAI online module – Business Analytic Procedure Timely submission of adhoc requirements from any authority.
• Liasoning with IRDAI / GIC Assisting Company Secretary in preparation, conducting and organizing the Board Meetings, Annual General Meeting, Extra ordinary General Meeting of the organization.
• Resolving the actionable after the meetings Monitor and update concerned team and management on AML / CFT issues Preparation of Processes, policies for the team.
Specialized skills :
• Excellent knowledge of IRDA Laws, Acts, process & Procedures especially Insurance Law, Civil and Criminal law, AML, etc.
• Collaboration Stakeholder Management
Qualification & Experience :
Graduate-LLB (additional qualification of CS shall be given preference).
Certifications / Fellow ship in Insurance would be an added advantage
At least 3 years’ experience in Insurance sector (including atleast 2 years in General Insurance)
Skills :
• Analytical Skills, E-mail Drafting Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
• Planning and Organizing skills
