Title – Deputy Manager Data Science and Digital Technology
This role would primarily focus on developing Data architecture, data engineering, advanced analytics, AI/ML models, and process digitalization. The right candidate needs minimum of 6 years of experience – inclusive of People Management and cut-throat Technical Skills.
Added Responsibilities
• Advanced Analytics: The candidate would be responsible to set up Advanced Analytics. He/She would work with cross-functional teams and bring industry standard AIML use-cases to BD Life Sciences. He/She might be required to travel to Plants and other BD facilities to identify the right AIML use cases.
• Data Architecture and engineering: The candidate would be responsible for leading the data architecture and engineering aspects across multiple initiatives.
• People Management: The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and might be required to handle a team of upto 5 associates currently.
• Project Management /Analytics Support: Work with leadership to derive Integrated Supply Chain transformation through innovative analytics. Draft project plan and evangelize with stakeholders across the organization for feedback and approval. Develop an in-depth understanding of business performance and generate strategic insights to influence decision making
• Operational Excellence
• Develop and standardize analytical tools, frameworks, and processes, to up-level and democratize analytically grounded decision making at all levels of the business
• Challenge the status quo to advance and evolve how BD thinks about and executes solutions across Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and other areas of the business
• Stakeholder & People Management:
• Partner & present to senior BD Leadership (VP/GMs, Sr Directors, Directors, Leaders etc.) across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance & Global Marketing
• Manage deadlines, timelines, and employee schedules
• Leading new resource hiring, Performance review, Career Planning, etc.
