About the Role:
As the Deputy Principal you will:
Improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools
Develop the quality of teaching and learning
Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Support the Principal in leading the school community to develop and enact a shared educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students, and deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral leadership role, embedding socially just and inclusive practices across the school.
Set and sustain high expectations for student achievement and staff performance through effective leadership and accountability.
Lead strategically with a futures-focused mindset, actively engaging in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
Build and maintain productive partnerships with parents, community groups, industry, business, and government agencies, while managing resources effectively and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
