We seek a visionary and proactive Deputy Principal to join our leadership team and support the School Management in managing the academic, administrative, and operational functions of the school.
Role Overview
The Deputy Principal will work closely with the School Director to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, maintain compliance with CBSE requirements, foster a positive learning environment, and drive academic and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Director in implementing the school’s academic vision, policies, and strategic plans.
• Oversee daily school operations, including teacher supervision, student discipline, and timetable management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation byelaws and other statutory regulations.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and reporting for CBSE and other authorities.
• Mentor and evaluate teaching staff to ensure quality teaching and learning outcomes.
• Handle parental communication and grievance redressal effectively and professionally.
• Lead academic planning, examination schedules, and curriculum delivery in coordination with coordinators and heads of departments.
• Supervise co-curricular, sports, and extracurricular programs.
• Manage staff attendance, leave approvals, and ensure substitution arrangements.
• Liaise with the School Management Committee (SMC) and provide regular progress reports.
• Ensure a safe, disciplined, and conducive learning environment for students and staff.
Qualifications & Experience
• Postgraduate degree in Education or related field (B.Ed. mandatory; M.Ed./Ph.D. preferred).
• 10–20 years of teaching experience in reputed CBSE schools, including at least 5 years in a senior administrative role such as Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, or Head of Department.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE affiliation byelaws, examination systems, and academic planning.
• Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi).
• Ability to manage crises calmly and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
