Job Description
Join our Commodities and Global Markets Credit Analytics, Capital and Liquidity team as a Derivative and Capital Analyst, supporting various trading businesses across commodities, fixed income and currencies. Our team is a Line 1 risk function independent of business teams, and partners with the business and Commodities and Global Markets Management to manage and optimise credit risk.
This role requires 4 days in our office location.

What role will you play?
You will be learning about derivatives and understanding how they work, then applying this knowledge across capital, exposures and XVA management. You will be responsible for regular reporting, analysis and monitoring of derivatives and on-balance sheet exposures as well as portfolio analysis and identification of key risk drivers. Working as part of a dynamic, inclusive and collaborative team, you will work with various desks and stakeholders to understand and solve problems.
What you offer
1+ years of experience working in financial markets and trading or a related area
A tertiary qualification in a quantitative or analytical discipline, including Finance, Science or Engineering
An interest in financial and commodity markets
An analytical mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in order to work within a trading environment.
