Design Engineer

Design & Engineering: Develop and engineer physical security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, emergency communication). • Create detailed design documentation, including specifications, scope of work, and system architecture diagrams. • Collaborate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and IT teams during building design phases. • Integration & Implementation: Ensure seamless integration of physical security systems with IT infrastructure. • Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of security systems. • Maintain system documentation (as-built drawings, configurations). • Risk & Compliance: Interpret risk assessments and threat analyses to select appropriate security technologies. • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements. • Project Coordination: Work with regional and local security teams to implement designs. • Support vendor selection and manage technical aspects of bids. • Continuous Improvement: Research emerging technologies and recommend upgrades. • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams.
