Job Title: Solar Design Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
We are #hiring a Solar Design Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility analysis and site assessments to determine the best solar energy system for the customer's needs
- Design and engineer solar energy systems including creating schematics, selecting equipment, and performing structural calculations
- Manage solar projects from inception to completion, including creating project schedules, coordinating with contractors, and overseeing installation
- Test and commission solar systems to ensure they meet safety standards and function correctly
- Maintain detailed records of all solar projects and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders
- Keep up-to-date with advances in solar energy technologies and building codes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar design and project management
- Strong knowledge of solar energy technologies, building codes, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CAD and other design software (like Sketchup, PVSyst)
