Position Summary: This position involves a focused approach to core engineering/design activities of the company.
Job responsibilities:
• Design: Should be well-versed in CADD to maintain and enhance the various product designs of the company. Need to be proficient in AutoCAD. SolidWorks skill will be a plus.
• Offer management: Should be able to do design / pricing verification and give appropriate feedback to Marketing based on the enquiry data received.
• Order management: Should be able to verify and release fabrication drawings, worksheets and scope lists based on Engineering Indents received from Marketing.
• ISO framework: Should work inside the ISO framework established by the company and suggest improvements in process from time-to-time.
• Operations: Take care of the operational needs of the organization.
• Reporting: Generate various reports as required by the management.
Educational Qualification: • Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial)
Experience: • 2 – 3 years in the related field
Required Skills and Expertise:
• Knowledge of metals (mainly various grades of steel).
• Knowledge of various fabrication methods including welding.
• Excellent in visualization.
• Excellent in ACAD / SolidWorks.
• Excellent in Analytical skills.
• Excellent English skills: speaking, reading, writing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic and smart.
• Computer knowledge.
Preferred Industry: Light Engineering / Expansion Joints / Ducting / Boiler Manufacturers.
