Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative products and systems. In this role, you will drive complex engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring quality, performance, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, modeling, and simulation of mechanical/electronic components or systems using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
Translate product requirements into design solutions that meet functional, safety, and cost targets.
Review and validate designs using engineering calculations, FEA/CFD tools, and prototypes.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, QA, R&D, procurement) to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including drawings, BOMs, technical specs, and change requests.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design practices and standards.
Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
Drive continuous improvement in design processes and product performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant Engineering discipline.
5+ years of proven experience in product/system design and development.
Proficiency in CAD and simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
