Good Analytical, Communication,Team Player Reporting to Section Design Engieer - Mechanical Reported by NA Section 2 : Job Purpose (Summarise why this job exists; and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organisation) Contributes to design & development of Glass processing SPMs, trouble shooting for Auto & Arch glass machinery, process upgradation and optimization of available resources under guidance of Section Head. Section 3: Areas of Responsibility ( A specific, permanent area that requires the role holder to be responsible for taking decisions, delivering results or carrying out a significant amount of activity) Responsibility Heads Key Responsibilities/KRAs Machine / Process Development
• Explore machine feasibility against required specification with Design calculation, process standards and Prepare assmebly and part design / drafting.
• Ensure product design / drawings are released in confirmity with technical specification and design standards.
• Generate BOM, Drawing, Schedules of the Machine to Optimise of Finance, Manpower and Store Resources. Cost reduction
• Optimize the designs, manufacturing process / impart value addition by lean manufacturing techniques
• Optimize & regulate the old stocks / high value inventories & utilize it in some dedicated automated solutions Budgeting & layouts
• Design & prepare plant/equipment layouts within budgeted timeline and cost parameters Quality Management
• Implement past machine feedbacks, MPI's in new design
• Implement design & drawing standards (JIS/BS/ISO) for seemless manufacturing and assembly of machine Plant Support
