Design Engineer
Responsibilities:-
Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications.
Draw, update, and maintain designs.
Preparing Machines & Machine spares drawing.
Design product drawing, and prototype.
Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
Research and draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics.
We will be working on the next-generation USB/DDR/PCIe/Ethernet protocols for commercial, Enterprise and Automotive applications
Understand Standard Specifications/ the functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product and create architecture and micro-architecture with detailed design documents for some of the components of the design for medium to high complexity functionality.
Be an individual contributor in the Design Tasks – RTL coding of design, synthesis, CDC analysis, debugging, Test development etc.
Interact with customers to discuss/ understand customers’ specification requirements, if needed.
The candidate will work in a project and team-oriented environment with teams spread across multiple sites, worldwide.
Develop test prototypes. Identify solutions to improve production efficiency. Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.
Design new engineering products and processes.
Craft models and drawings of products using CAD.
Analyze prototype data and retest if needed.
Research new product ideas and methods.
Improve existing products and processes.
Ensure compliance with the industry's safety standards.
Design engineers study, research and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them.
They also modify existing products or processes to increase efficiency or improve performance.
Maintain accurate records.
Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.
Estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs.
Supervise the manufacturing process of all designs.
Research and tinker with an array of protocols and build in-depth knowledge about them.
You have been part of a successful product launch from ideation to production.
CAD 2D/3D experience
Proficient in Solidworks
Strong organizational and communication skills
You're comfortable working on 0-1 problems, especially when things are vague.
You have a 'validate first and perfect later' mentality.
You are curious and excited about how things work under the hood.
Be able to communicate your thoughts effectively by writing and prototyping.
You have an eye for detail and a firm grasp of visual design techniques like typography, hierarchy, and colour.
