Skill Set & Competencies :
Good Basic Engineering knowledge for conceptual design
Should have working experience process equipment or pressure Vessel/Heat exchanger
Good Knowldege of international codes and Standards like ASME,TEMA,IBR and CE
Creo and autocad Software knowldege
Well versed with ERP system
Specific Responsibilities :
• Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals.
• Maintain all technical document of all phases of research and development.
• Assess the scope of projects and ensure that they are on time and within budget.
• Maintain the BOM and review the changes or modifications and keep it up to date.
• Understand the cGMP requirement of all equipment for the Pharma market segment.
• Follow ISO 9000 procedure related to the function.
• Apply quality by design concepts on proto build to reach desired quality and reliability.
• Visit the customer places and vendor places to understand the constraints or take measurements as well smooth execution of
• Prepare the Verification and Validation procedure for new products under development.
• Work on projects with the concurrent support and instructions from the manager as per the project plan.
• Each design shall incorporate relevant codes and standards as well safety requirements during design stage and legible in all
documents.
• Check the manufacturing feasibility and assembly constraints while design the new systems or by modifying existing designs.
• Perform the Design calculations as per international standards and do the analytical work as and when require.
• Get the Approval from various notifying bodies for international certification approval and perform the Audit (i.e. CE, U
IBR)
• Maintain the ISO documents and perform the Audit.
• Decide the technical specifications of components to be used and modify the item code description as and when require.
• Coordinate with purchase, vendor and production team to understand the issue related to design department and resolve with
consultation.
• Reply all queries raised by customers and sales and marketing department on technical aspect, sizing aspect, alternative
components aspects, or addition of any feature aspect.
• Do the Purchase related activities for R&D components order release which includes get the quotation from market, do the
negotiation, make the QCS and release the Purchase order.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
• Proficient in Solidworks
• Strong organizational and communication skills
