Must have exposure in LV Panel , MCC , PCC , APFC Panel , AMF Systems , PDB , Control and Relay Panel , Instrumentation Panels , PLC / DCS panel , Hazardeous area Panel.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review the customer drawing and enlist the required BOQ.
• Prepare the costing from the price list.
• Analyze different suppliers to obtain best cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare Design and costing of Electrical Panel.
• Prepare Base Design, Details Design Drawing Submittals, O&M Manuals for IEC range of LV equipment including but not limited to LV Switchgear & Controlgear for AC and DC application, Panelboard, Distribution Board, Motor Control Center with starters such as direct online, star-delta, soft starter, VFD, Automatic Power Factor Correction, ATS/AMF Panel, Generator Synchronization Panel, Control Panel, Package SS, Unit SS, LV Bus Duct, Cable Ladder & Tray.
• Calculate the busbar size required for ETO (Engineered To Order) LV equipment.
• Reply to customer comments and revise drawings submittal accordingly.
• Follow up for design submittal approval.
• Release purchase request for materials.
• Provide approved design and other inputs to the Production File Management team.
• Perform network studies like discrimination study, circuit breaker & cable size verification, heat dissipation, and others using software ETAP or xSpider, SIMARIS Design, DOC.
• Coordination, planning, scoping, estimation and tracking.
• Relationship management with clients, consultant, OEM s (Original Equipment Manufacturer) & Ensuring smooth business operations.
• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, meeting customer delivery expectations.
• Work extended hours as per job requirements.
Qualification:
BE/BTech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Equivalent.
Experience Required:
3 to 4 Years for BE/BTech. 6 to 8 Years for Diploma Candidate.
• Should have experience in Electrical Panel manufacturing Field. Should have proven abilities to work as team player. Should have knowledge of interfaces with other engineering disciplines in carrying out project work for providing /receiving/ reviewing the deliverables at various stages of project.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines in an efficient and profitable manner.
• basic computer knowledge - MS Outlook email and MS Excel.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• HT Panel, MCC, PCC, APFC Panel, AMF Systems, PDB, Control and Relay Panel, Instrumentation Panels, PLC / DCS panel, Hazardeous area Panel.
• Must have working experience of 3 to 5 years as LV Design Engineer with Saudi Arabia and/or GCC based Panel builder.
• Must have application knowledge of IEC.
• Must knowledge about multiple LV components and Switchboard manufacturers such as Eaton, Siemens, ABB, Legrand, Schneider and must have expertise in one at least.
• Should have experience with network studies and calculation.
• Preference will be given to candidate with knowledge of specification of Qatar/KAHRAMAA requirement.
