We have a rare opportunity available for a Design Manager to join our Gold Coast team. We’re seeking a visionary Design Manager to lead innovative design solutions, drive collaboration across teams, and bring architectural excellence to life from concept to completion. This is an opportunity to deliver high-impact community commercial projects with values up to $50m. About the role
Ensure design documentation is compliant and practical to deliver.
You will need to work Autonomously at times and also closely with internal & external stakeholders for quality outcomes.
Managing the entire Design process from Tender to Practical Completion
Driving the Value Management process to provide the best possible outcomes for both our clients and Alders.
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including clients, architects, and various other consultants and authorities.
Responsible for planning, creating and controlling the delivery of project design - manage the approval process and cost plans in accordance with the program and project requirements.
Requirements
You will be a methodical individual with a creative streak who is adept at investigating project opportunities and efficiencies.
Tertiary Qualification relevant to the role
A minimum of 5 years’ practical experience in a similar head contractor design management role
Greenstar and NABERS project delivery and accreditation will be favourable
An accomplished communicator and negotiator
