Job Description

As a Design Manager at Built, you'll be an integral member of our project team delivering a major construction project in Western Sydney.


Built’s Construction team are currently involved in multiple projects ranging from $50M to $1 billion, with an enthusiastic individual invited to join the team immediately. This particular project will be valued at approx $500M.


Our Design Managers are responsible for delivering a robust and cost-effective design for the project, meeting the scope and technical requirements while in line with budget and program constraints.


The successful candidate will work with all relevant project staff but most

closely with the incumbents in the following roles as applicable for a project:


Construction Manager
Project Managers
Services Managers
Senior Quantity Surveyors
Quantity Surveyors

Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role:

Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry
Previous experience working with a 1st or 2nd tier building contractor
Demonstrated ability to apply design management skills across a range of projects
Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management
Experience in Document Control and BIM project documentation coordination and delivery
Competency in general business software inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
Competency in multiple Document Control and BIM platforms demonstrating experience and ability to utilise the require project software.

Demonstrates verbal communication, written communication and has attention to detail
