My client is a leader in illumination and experiential design, delivering award-winning installations across Australia and New Zealand.
They are seeking an experienced Design Studio Manager to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with Experience Project Managers and the production team, you will play a key role in overseeing large-scale creative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee studio operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Manage team resourcing, recruitment, and onboarding of full-time and casual creatives.
Forecast, track, and report on creative hours and budgets.
Schedule workflows and resolve resource challenges to meet deadlines.
Ensure creative assets, product specifications, and documentation are well-organised.
Develop and refine project management tools.
Handle purchase orders and supplier invoices.
Maintain and update presentation templates, floor plans, and marketing content.
What I’m Looking For:
Creative Leadership – 5+ years of experience managing a design studio and creative team.
Graphic Design Expertise – Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong eye for branding.
Highly Organised – Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Technical Knowledge – Experience with set design, props, and lighting.
