This position will be an integral part of our office staff and will directly impact the business by being a main contributor to our company’s design output and overall customer service experience. This position will require face-to-face meetings to learn about each project individually, put their creative spin on new designs, and helping bring each customer’s project to life.
Responsibilities
- Educate customers on options regarding cabinetry and countertops.
- Work closely with customers to learn about each project, accurately design based on their wants/needs, and assist in the decision-making process.
- Take projects from first customer interaction/initial design to final approval of design and selections, while being customer main point-of-contact throughout process.
- Create new designs based on initial inquiries, and work with current customers to prepare projects for production.
- Work with office staff to meet deadlines and meet customer needs.
- Collaborate directly with residential customers & contractors/designers.
- Attend weekly office meetings to assign new projects to design team and provide updates on projects currently in the works.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships.
- Exceptional work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations and help business grow.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and can meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Must be adaptable and have good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to envision designs for all types of projects based on customer wants/needs.
- CAD/Cabinetry design software experience preferred, but not required.
- Interior design/cabinetry design experience preferred.
