Job Description
The purpose of the Desktop engineer role is to provide onsite and remote desktop support by responding to and resolving incidents and service requests whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and investigate diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults related to end-user devices.
Responsibilities
Providing End User device technical support and a customer-oriented service experience.
Manning the technical hub for walk-up requests
Troubleshooting desktops laptops and tablets running a Windows OS (10 and 11).
Working within Azure AD
Working with and troubleshooting common enterprise applications (MS Office 365, Adobe, etc..)
Troubleshooting peripherals (printers, POS terminals, barcode scanners)
Ability to work with composure and professionalism when dealing with multiple demands.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience with troubleshooting end user issues in a corporate environment.
ITIL v3 MCITP/MCTS and/or relevant technical qualifications highly regarded
