WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will:

Oversee day-to-day transport operations to ensure delivery and pick-up schedules are met.
Organize site operations to align with transport and line haul schedules.
Maintain security measures, including vehicle seals, to protect products and assets.
Promote efficiency, safety, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (H&S, driver fatigue, loading limits).
Monitor and ensure accurate freight billing and customer standards.
Conduct regular compliance and security audits, investigating and resolving breaches.
Coordinate team performance to achieve customer KPIs and internal operational targets.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational audits.
Manage costs within budget and assist with site plans and performance monitoring.
Lead and support a small team, fostering engagement, safety, and development.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for someone with:

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, influence, and motivate teams at all levels to consistently deliver outstanding results.
Strong expertise in logistics, with a valid Class 4 truck driving license and ability to drive heavy vehicles when required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence key stakeholders.
A track record of operational excellence, ensuring the maintenance and continuous improvement of standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for the success of this role.
The ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
