Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Queenstown Rentals team as their Detailing Team Leader. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Thl is the world's leading provider of holiday vehicles for rent and sale, operating under various brands across Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and the UK. Our brands include maui, Apollo, Britz, Cheapa Camper, Hippie, Mighty rentals, and more. We also design motorhomes through Action Manufacturing and create digital products via thl Digital.
Collectively we represent over 15 RV brands, each with strong brand equity and local heritage in the markets they operate. Amplified by our connections to the broader tourism industry and manufacturing sectors.

About the Role: As our Team Leader, you’ll provide daily frontline leadership to our detailing crew, focusing on improving performance, productivity, and efficiency in preparing and cleaning vehicles to the highest standards. Your goal: exceed customer expectations while achieving quality, productivity, and strategic targets.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and motivate the detailing team to deliver outstanding vehicle presentation.
Ensure quality control of vehicles, equipment, and furnishings.
Coordinate daily workflow and effective rostering for optimal results and work/life balance.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to new and existing crew members.
Support the Department Manager with recruitment, performance management, and planning.
Champion a positive team culture and continuous improvement.
Communicate clearly with crew, managers, and other departments.
Actively contribute to health and safety initiatives and best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or vehicle grooming at a supervisory level.
Previous experience leading large teams and achieving/exceeding targets.
Strong leadership, coaching, and delegation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and problem-solve in high-pressure situations.
Passion for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Adaptable, approachable, and confident with a positive, hands-on attitude.
