Document Review: Carefully read and interpret source documents such as sales reports, bills, or canceled checks, and enter the required data into designated fields
Accuracy Checks: Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of various data types, including demographic, financial, and customer information, before entering it into the system
Error Detection: Compare entered data with source documents using verification tools to detect and correct errors, and report discrepancies to supervisors when necessary
Record Maintenance: Maintain operational records and logs to ensure all data and activities are documented and accessible
Confidentiality: Safeguard data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality while maintaining customer confidence and protecting sensitive information
Priority Setting: Establish data entry priorities by adhering to organizational guidelines or consulting with team leadership
Verification: Review, correct, delete, recover, or reenter customer and account data as necessary to maintain accuracy and integrity
Data Management: Purge files to remove duplicate information, secure data by completing regular database backups, and contribute ideas for improving data collection processes
Team Support: Operate office equipment as needed to assist in data entry tasks and contribute to team goals by accomplishing related results as required
