Vice President - Business Management Specialist - COO
Hiring for one of the leading investment bank in India for a VP role
Major responsibilities :
- Supporting global PPSS & CIO COO and Head of Global CIO COO Team
- Responsible for various global CIO and PPSS initiatives and projects:
- Possible topics: costs, regulatory and risk, market data, etc.
- Project management
- Coordination with various stakeholders across IPB regions
- Ad hoc analysis on e.g. costs, FTE, etc.
- Becoming an expert on market data usage and costs for IPB
- Organization and preparation of regular global CIO & PPSS COO Team Calls
- Agenda, presentation, etc.
- Coordination and review of monthly MIS report for CIO and PPSS in cooperation with the central CIO COO Team
- Ad hoc topics
- The scope is to cover all aspects of the above mentioned major responsibilities and to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.
Key Targets & Objectives of Role : Client (adding value to clients) People (recruiting/coaching people/valuing diversity) / Economic (achieving financial results) Functional / Technical (advancing technical expertise)
Your skills and experience :
Technical Skills (i.e. Languages, PC knowledge):
- Excellent English a must.
- Good xls and excellent PowerPoint knowledge, means ability to create a slide in senior management style based on high level input
Personal competencies or skills :
- Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player - willing and able to work under pressure, being able to prioritize tasks
- Project Management experience
- Works fast with utmost precision even under pressure - error-free and under own initiative
- Positive, outgoing and open-minded personality, self-motivated, with a desire to succeed and grow professionally and personally
- Be well organized, able to multi-task and run multiple deliverables in parallel
- Have excellent problem solving skills and be able to think critically
- Have strong analytical skills with high attention to details
Essential Expertise :
- Banking knowledge
- Experienced with legal, compliance and regulatory requirements associated to the job
Desirable Expertise / Education : Banking / financial education
