· Design and develop Oracle objects such as packages, procedures, views, materialized views, triggers for high-performing transactional/reporting applications
• Triage and do high level analysis of incidents reported and segregate them into base product vs customization issues.
• Interact with customer in case any additional information is required through various modes of communication like phone, email etc
• Drive the fire calls for severity/priority-1 issues reported by customer.

· Design, develop and Unit Test on need basis

· Troubleshooting problems and analyzing solutions to them

· Coordinate with offshore teams on need basis

Skills / Attributes Required:

Essential:

o P&C Insurance domain knowledge with expertise in Policy Administration System.
• Designing and developing Oracle object such as Tables, Views, Indexes, Stored Procedures & Functions in PL/SQL, Packages in PL/SQL, Materialized Views, Dynamic SQL

o Extensive experience in analyzing, designing and building of complex database transaction and reporting solutions

o Performance tuning, profiling and monitoring slow performing SQL

o Experience with complex data modeling/entity relation modeling and design techniques, database normalization theory, data dictionary techniques, and schema design techniques

o Good Communication Skills

o Highly motivated self-starter
