Aardae is Singapore’s biggest online platform for clean/organic/natural beauty. We want to take this to the next step by turning this into a destination where one can find the most comprehensive collection of the most beautiful, safe, and effective beauty products in the world. And we are looking for a Shopify Developer who is willing to join us in this beautiful journey.
Job Location: Chennai.
Responsibilities:
• Working with UX and designers to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable front-end experiences.
• Building out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project.
• Partner closely with product and design teams to brainstorm and identify deliverables and milestones.
• Intense passion and strong desire to be successful in the field of web development or programming.
• Test the website changes and iterate.
• Present work scope, estimates, and demonstrations to leadership at regular intervals.
• Lead a team of junior Shopify engineers to get deliverables executed.
• Present performance feedback for the junior Shopify engineers.
What You Should Already Have:
• Should have completed BE/B.Tech/MCA.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep experience building eCommerce stores using Shopify and front-end development.
• Possess a keen eye for design and user experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Ruby on rails, CSS and relevant scripting languages.
• Experience working with the platform APIs.
• Understanding of version control for Shopify theme development.
• Strong verbal, written, and collaboration skills.
