Job Description
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining Applications and Data Warehouse systems. The individual engages with business and IT teams to define, prioritize, and implement functional enhancements and operational changes in the Platform.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
• Take part in the design and build of IT solutions per business requirements.
• Accumulate IT subject matter expertise (SME) for existing Actuarial applications.
• Help estimate work requests at various levels with confidence.
• Provide input to testing strategy, configuration, deployment, hardware/software requirement, etc.
• Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.
• Build and maintain a relationship with business teams.
• Review the plan and provide feedback on gaps, timeline, execution feasibility, etc., as required in the tasks.
• Take part in KT sessions conducted by customers/ other business teams and provide feedback on requirements.
• Maintain working relationships with business users, developers, the application support team, and other IT teams.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills And Abilities
• Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• 3+ years of hands-on software design and development experience.
• 3+ years of diverse ETL concepts, subject matter expert in Informatica.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, 2+ years of experience in MS SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience in T-SQL: Stored Procedures, Functions, Complex Joins, # tables, CTEs, Pivot/Unpivot.
• Hands-on experience with scheduling tools like Autosys.
• Ability to quickly grasp business needs and be able to adapt to changes.
• Work in all aspects of the ETL development cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deploying, and support.
• Ability to coordinate to solve technical and production issues.
• Excellent communication and flexibility to work in a shift overlapping with the United States (East Coast).
Desired Skills And Abilities
• Informatica and SQL Server configuration knowledge.
• Knowledge of .Net development concepts.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling concepts: Table/ Index design, Partitioning.
• Insurance domain knowledge.
• Good understanding of Cloud computing.
• Understanding of Big Data and Data Science concepts.
