As a pivotal member of our development team, you will be responsible for crafting robust and scalable web applications using the MERN stack while also leveraging IoT technologies to enhance our real-time data processing capabilities and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements, including IoT-related features.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient and user-friendly web applications using the MERN stack.
• Integrate Kafka for real-time event streaming, data synchronization, and IoT data ingestion.
• Develop Kafka producers and consumers to manage IoT data flows and ensure seamless integration.
• Utilize IoT technologies to collect, process, and analyze sensor data from connected devices.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that leverage IoT data to provide real-time insights.
• Work alongside the DevOps team to deploy applications using containerization technologies while ensuring IoT device connectivity.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models with a focus on IoT data storage and retrieval.
• Enforce effective data management strategies, including validation, transformation, and migration of IoT data.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to development best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging IoT technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative ways to enhance our solutions.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing IoT-related projects.
• Expertise in MongoDB for robust database design and management, specifically for IoT data.
• Proficiency in Express.js and Node.js for developing RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
• Strong grasp of frontend technologies, including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Angular.
• Solid understanding of Kafka architecture, setup, and utilization for event-driven IoT systems.
• Experience working with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and platforms (e.g., IoT Hub, AWS IoT).
• Familiarity with IoT device management, security, and data encryption practices.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including IoT data modeling, validation, and migration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in a dynamic team environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
