Job Description
Job Title: Developer - Anaplan
Location: Bengaluru
Reporting to: Tech Manager Anaplan
• Purpose of the role
The Run and Maintenance role in Anaplan is responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous operation support. The responsibilities also include:
• Anaplan Models that are moved from Dev to Prod should be managed effectively
• Managing the routines with regular optimization to enhance the model performance.
• Model enhancement request to be accommodated as per the business requirements.
• E2E solution to the end users using agile ways of working
• Key tasks & accountabilities
• Responsible for handling the routines with no business impact.
• Identify synergies between the models and apply the best practices.
• Responsible for optimizing the model at regular intervals for enhanced performance.
• Working closely with business partners in executing Rollovers, Bug fixes and model enhancements request for the respective zones
• Explore ANAPLAN capabilities- Upskill
• Collaborate with Anaplan Sr Model Builders to understand and learn the Anaplan technicalities
• Maintaining ANAPLAN models which are in accordance with the best practices.
• Understand the WHY and WHAT of the models from the functional point.
• Knowledge Management
• Maintaining process & solution documentation related to ANAPLAN
• Ensure correct usage of application functionality. Provide training.
• Backup in case of a BCP situation
• Coordinate & implement best practice
• Make sure all zonal business contingency plans are documented and kept up to date
• Maintain master data and hierarchies
• Provide access to Anaplan Models for the Teams. Maintaining user roles.
• Budgeting support
• Able to understand the new requirements of model building and come with an effort estimation.
Business Environment
• Develop, maintain, and elaborate planning models
• Standardization and simplification of planning processes
• Accelerate the process.
• Explore new planning processes in accordance with Sr. Model Builders.
• Ensure accurate and consistent data quality cross zone
• Maintain master data and hierarchies
• Establish and maintain ANAPLAN Governance (managing the size of the workspace)
• Act as administrator: granting access, maintaining access

• SCFD
• Volume
• Brand P&L (Customer/Brand visibility)

Level Of Educational Attainment Required
• MBA – Finance / Operations, CA/CWA / Bachelorette of Engineering
• L3 certification is mandatory
Previous Work Experience
• 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan world.
• Experience in handling complex models.
• Good with Anaplan Basics
• Business experience in Finance, Supply Chain with EPM exposure is an added advantage.
• Experience in IT/IS is an added advantage.
Skills & Technical Competencies
• Understanding of Budgeting & Planning, Rolling Forecast, Overhead, Supply, and Sales
• Understanding of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting and Controlling Techniques, Standards, and Practices is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and within stringent deadlines
• Ability to translate business needs into IT requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of planning solutions (Anaplan/IBM TM1/Oracle Hyperion), SAP, Cognos will be plus.
• Strong drive for superior performance, accuracy, and precision
