Job Description
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Developer in Chennai.
Here is a glimpse of what you will do:
This Java Web Developer position will be based in Chennai. As a Java Developer you will be involved in Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance based on Technologies Java,J2EE,Oracle PL/SQL and backed with knowledge on HTML,JSF,Linux Server knowledge(Payara,Tomcat)
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle in a development team.
Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
To provide technical assistance identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Direct translations of functions to be automated. Design details of automated systems. May provide consulting activities to end users on proposed automated systems area.
Here is some of what you will need (required):
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Proven hands on Software Development experience.
Proven working experience in Java Web development.
Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
Strong collaboration skills, work hand in a team environment during all development stages.
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL (SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring, MVC, Primafaces, Bootfaces).
Proficient understanding of web markup including CSS, HTML, XHTML, JQUERY and JavaScript.
Desirable experience in build tools such as Maven or Ant.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development process.
