W hat you’ll do T he current requirement is for an ABAP Associate Developer / Developer position within SAP’s Private Cloud Products organization. In this role, you will be responsible for one or more products within the HCM (Human Capital Management) module. You will investigate, assess, and solve issues in new and existing code at Development Support level, as well as undertake Continuous Innovation / Development projects, to release feature enhancements and new feature developments based on customer demand and product roadmap. You will need to work with high quality, reliability, efficiency, attention to detail, and collaborate closely with colleagues within and outside the team to ensure customer success. In your day-to-day tasks you will need: T echno-functional expertise in the allocated product(s). H igh self-motivation and curiosity to learn with minimum handholding and gain deep techno-functional expertise in the assigned product areas. P reparedness to take up remote knowledge transfer sessions within our global development teams with minimal handholding. H igh commitment to quality, and the perseverance to perform in-depth, technical and functional analysis of complex issues faced by SAP customers and formulate appropriate solutions. S trong customer focus to resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining high Customer satisfaction. A bility to articulate technical and functional information clearly for external and internal customers and stakeholders and manage expectations. P rofessional outlook to operate in a globally distributed organization and take full accountability and ownership of deliverables. H igh proactiveness to take up additional/new topics as needed. H igh discipline to appropriately prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs with estimated efforts, and drive topics to completion. A bility to quickly ramp-up on latest AI and Gen-AI technologies, and prepare for upcoming use cases in SAP’s product road-maps. W hat you bring A re you analytical, self-motivated, and enjoy problem solving? Are you skilled in time management and task prioritization? Do you enjoy continuous learning and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment? I f this sounds like you, do you also bring: G raduate / Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or Equivalent Degree. T otal 2 – 7 years of hands-on developer experience. S trong domain knowledge in SAP ERP HCM and SAP S/4 HANA is preferred. H igh proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented design and development. S trong hands-on experience in ABAP, OOABAP (mandatory). P rior hands-on experience in SQL, UI5, Fiori, CDS views or RAP would be a plus. E xcellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. A bility to develop architectural and functional skills E xcellent written and oral communication skills S trong team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
