Ericsson Operations Manager Cloud Infrastructure [OMC] is Ericsson NFVI product-based offering that aims at simplifying NFVI solution operations in centralized & distributed deployments. OMC is a GUI based application provides a coordinated platform for handling NFVI components in a geographically distributed cloud infrastructure, enables secure and hierarchical multi-tenancy for this cloud infrastructure. OMC product addresses NFVI Infrastructure FM, PM, Logging and Lifecycle Management requirements of Telco Operators.
What you will do
The job of the developer role includes development activities (requirement analysis system design, architecture design, software design, integration, verification, automation of unit testcases, tools / simulators, Product Lifecycle Management support & product documentation). Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing will be part of the daily work.

Planning and Organizing
You will bring
Masters/bachelor’s degree (4+ years) in Computer Science or related field from Tier-1 institutions.
3+ years hands on experience in product development
Must have coding experience in Python or Java
Develop frameworks, modules, APIs that are scalable in Python
Ability to develop feature/module through concept, design, development &, automation
Experience working with Linux based Operating Systems and Rest APIs
Proficient with virtualization concepts including virtual machine, Linux Containers & hypervisors.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes in cloud infrastructure and basic knowledge of open stack.
Good understanding of distributed software systems, docker, Kubernetes & micro services
Understanding of object oriented design and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical & programming skills
Reproduce faults from customer sites in own lab environment, including configuring customer configurations & provide resolution
Test a product, including prototyping, test design, test tool design, test environment design, and test result analysis
