Overview
The job holder will be responsible for the software development and is expected to work closely with senior stakeholders to understand
business goals and ensure that the development team & technologies used are aligned with these while also ensuring quality and timely
delivery.
He/ She may be used in other projects of Digital India as well, whenever required.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements
for the development team.
• Designing, building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
• API design and development (RESTful Services).
• Writing testable, scalable and efficient code and leading code reviews.
• Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards.
• Work with Jenkins to automate dev, build, deployment and testing.
Essential Qualification
• Graduation/B.E/B. Tech./ MCA or equivalent.
• Qualification can be relaxed in the case of exceptional candidates.
Experience & Skill
• Proficient and should have hands-on experience in JavaScript, NodeJS, NestJS and PHP, Python etc.
• Working experience of API Creation and RESTful services.
• Database design and development – MySQL and MongoDB etc.
• Web server technologies like Nodejs, Apache, Haproxy, etc.
• Working on Frameworks like NestJS PHP Framework etc.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using methodologies tools like JIRA, OpenForge Task Manager.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tool - Git.
• Experience of working for a government set up/ project is desirable.
• Knowledge of Linux, Docker, ELK.
