Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering
Outcomes:
Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Roles And Responsibilities • You will be a part of the Managed Detection & Response (MDR) team that provide cybersecurity services to our clients. • Work with cybersecurity team to understand and prioritize user requirements. • Design and develop requested functionality, working closely with cybersecurity team to refine the functionality in subsequent sprints. • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize code for speed, scalability and reusability. • Ensure excellent code quality and rectify any issues or bugs arising from the code. • Mentor junior colleagues on their assigned tasks for the sprint. Essential Requirements • 4+ years of web development experience. • Applicants must submit the link to their github profile/code repository. Their profile must contain projects where they have made significant contributions. • Expert knowledge on MVC model, writing scalable python Webservice API calls, familiar with Flask framework. • Proficient in Jinja2, HTML/CSS/JS. Experience with creating tables, charts and other visualizations using open-source libraries like chart.js. • Experience with git version control system. • Experience with writing unit tests and continuous integration practices. • Hands on experience with configuration/deployment of code on cloud platforms and monitoring the health of services. Desirable Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • AZ-400 Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure service offerings (App Service, Key Vault, MS SQL database) • Familiarity with security monitoring tools and processes • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams API/Security tools vendor API
