Job Title: Developer (Java Springboot) Location: Bengaluru/Hybrid Summary: As an Developer, you have the opportunity to accelerate the innovation and delivery of the SAP Ariba products. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build the next generation Ariba cloud applications. You will work on internet scale level problems and complex business problems leveraging latest client-side and Ariba Cloud technologies. To succeed in this position, you should be passionate about the user experience, security, scalability and be very results-oriented to get things done. The Role: You will be member of the App Foundation Services (AFS) team in Bangalore, SAP. Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software Work closely with product managers, architects, user interaction designers, and QA engineers. Presenting ideas for system improvements and building POCs. Role Requirements: B.E/B. Tech with 4+ years of experience in Java and related technologies Java coding skills and expertise in JDBC, Springboot and Web Services (REST, oDATA) with focus on performance and scalability Experience in performance testing of large-scale cloud deployments and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment DevOps mindset � an inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle Knowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, TeamCity, Jenkins etc. and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices Exposure to building large scale application deployed on a public cloud like AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc. About the team: We are known as App Foundation Services (AFS) team in SAP. AFS team is running multiple innovation programs which add value to customer satisfaction and addresses major customer pain points. Along with solving core customer issues we also committed to providing good user experience. We are working in rapid development mode to accomplish our vision for 2026. As part of our 2026 vision, we have a stack of new innovations in pipeline, which need to be executed. Team is distributed across multiple geographical locations-Bangalore (India), Palo Alto (USA). Every member in team holds an important role in team and we are super excited about our vision.
