Job Description
We are looking for a React Native developer that is passionate about designing high-performance mobile apps for both iOS and Android.
He/She will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.
Responsibilities
Must to have
• Developing scalable, reusable components and front-end libraries,
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs, near map(Map Box), reusable components etc .
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Experienced in using Mobile Views on iOS and Android
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and Typescripts or ClojureScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Understanding of REST APIs the document request model, and offline storage
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ)
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
Good to have
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Experience with circle CI/CD
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha
• Knowledge of functional as well as object-oriented programming
• Work with native modules when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor or MSc degree in Computer Science, IT or or other related field or relevant equivalent working experience
