THE ROLE
Expectation Overview: A Developer is capable of working independently or collaboratively with colleagues, clients or partners in the timely design, development, build, integration, distribution or administration of new software, maintenance of existing software or the process of creating software releases. Able to handle day-to-day challenges and owning the resolution of issues as they arise. Colleagues at this band will have a detailed knowledge on a minimum of one particular product or process area, whilst also displaying good awareness of industry and market trends/behaviors. A strong information sharer, contributing to training of colleagues and product documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• DEVELOPER JAVA /C / C++
• Demonstrate strong development, build, integration, distribution, administration, maintenance or release skills.
• Ability to undertake basic design work
• Take a lead role in ensuring the contribution of others adds value.
• Conduct formal reviews of peers work.
• Always demonstrates application of correct Product procedures.
• The technical workings of more than one specific product or process area.
• Industry and market developments (Good Awareness)
• Understand the structure of the company and demonstrate relationships with a number of contacts within the company.
Skills & Experience
• takeholder confidence as a result of technical ability
• Product delivery (meeting expectations on quality, timeliness, scope, etc.)
• Client satisfaction (measured by adherence to client SLAs for defects)
• Approved deliverables (as per Product development process)
• Ability to understand, manage and drive through resolution of any issue.
• Able to implement a new technology or process.
• Competency in more than one specific product or process area and handling escalations.
• Demonstrates the ability and desire to Lead Coaching and supporting others.
• Takes an active part in decisions on product design or development processes.
