Developer, SAP Development, GBS
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The developer is part of a developer pool supporting the functional teams to solve operational issues or deliver developments for projects.
He/she is accountable for the following tasks
• Development and enhancements for the ABAP Objects (reports, function modules, smartforms, OO programming, CDS view )
• SAP logic for interfaces, APIs, etc
• Creation of the Technical Design Documentation (TDD)
• Incident handling in Production systems
He / She collaborates closely with the Solution Architects, Functional Specialists and integration specialists to:
• Debug and solve operational issues
• Develop technical design for functional requirements
• Develop and test the solutions
Maintain and continuously improve the quality of the solutions in operation and new project deliveries
Work Experience :
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience working with SAP (ECC 6 / S/4 Hana) in a hands-on application management organization and project environment
• Experience in SLA oriented multi-site support environment
• Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
• Expert in diagnosing / debugging / trouble shooting
• Extensive experience with SAP configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
• Expert level experience of SAP modules and underlying architecture design
• Experience in designing SAP software components
• Experience integrating SAP with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools
Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
Industry Experience:
• Worked in Multi Site, Cross Functional Support team
• Full lifecycle ERP experience in an SAP manufacturing environment with specific understanding of various procurement Functions
Education: B Tech / MBA from eminent institutions
Licensing/Certification: ITIL Preferred
Functional Knowledge: Expert in understanding of business functions and SAP.
Technical Knowledge:
• SAP knowledge / Trouble Shooting Skills
• ABAP skills (OO ABAP, Report development, Smartform development, idoc-EDI development, Enhancements implementations)
• Integration understanding
• Solution Manager process overview
Language: Strong spoken and written English
Project Support Management: SAP implementation and post live support experience in multinational environment
Change Management:
• ******** knowledge of Change management approaches and techniques stakeholder analysis, stakeholder mapping, content creation and delivery
• Formal consulting skills

Developer, SAP Development, GBS
