What you'll do
As part of the Fiori UX Engineering team, you will:
Be part of a development team located in SAP Labs India, Bangalore. You will help shape the team and make it a well-recognized and highly respected team in the P&I organization.
Win customer loyalty by creating memorable experiences for customers.
Resolve customer issues with transparency and urgency.
Conduct all external facing communication in a professional manner, and to a high level of customer service.
Be expected to have a Strong Inclination to work in a development support profile coupled with a strong Customer-first outlook.
Resolve customer issues by working on customer incidents/internal incidents, delivering high quality and regression-free bug-fixes.
Driving and maintaining a high quality of support also for related UI5 topic components through close collaboration with other colleagues.
Managing critical customer issues and escalations whilst maintaining customer satisfaction, delivering feature enhancements on case-by-case basis depending on customer demand or continuous innovation initiatives internally.
Be responsible for the overall incident backlog for the owned topics and ensure to keep this at optimal level.
Ensure high quality corrections and notes for the owned topic areas and stable support packages with no regressions.
Efficient interaction and collaboration with other teams/stakeholders e.g., Primary Support or Development teams, to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of support for SAP customers.
What you bring
You demonstrate excellence in the following skills and competencies:
Strong software development skills in JavaScript.
B.Tech/ M.Tech with 1 - 3 years Experience
Experience with Frontend development/UI5 is a big plus
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle.
Ability to create and analyze software architecture / designs and communicate architecture with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills in English.
Experience in UI5/Fiori/Web IDE/OData is an added advantage.
Experience in BCP & Service Now incident management tools.
Advanced skills in software testing & frameworks.
Advanced skills in version control systems like GitHub/Git.
Flexible, innovative and analytical thinking; strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take on complex tasks.
Proactive, flexible, result-driven, with a “can do” attitude.
Knowledge in current business trends and drivers for business innovation.
Ability to work in a team and independently.

SAP Fiori Elements team, a major contributor to the OpenUI5/SAPUI5 framework, is looking for a Frontend developer for the UI5 Framework and expertise in JavaScript.
The focus of the team is on driving innovations in SAP Fiori technology platform and playing a crucial frontrunner role in extending the framework capabilities.
As a UI5 Developer-Support, you will participate in developing and supporting complex UI components to be used by S/4 HANA Fiori application teams. You will also provide technical guidance to application developers, support engineers, and other team members.
