Kalypso is seeking exceptional candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a Test Automation Engineer with PLM background.
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will solve challenging issues by performing and participating in application testing to apply end-to-end continuous quality and testability of code and configurations throughout the software development lifecycle.
The work is fast paced, demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. The learning curve can be quite steep at times, but our team will help you develop a broad set of skills and enable you to explore areas that are of interest to you.
In this role you will help to build quality within the software development process with automated testing suites by providing clear test definitions, well written test scripts, timely executions of tests, and accurately analyzed test results.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform regression, smoke, and ad-hoc testing on new and existing features
• Write and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Integrates automated test suites with continuous integration (CI) tools, Jenkins & Azure DevOps Test Manager, for frequent automated execution
• Record & report defects and errors with clear detailed description to development teams
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree - Software Engineering, Information Systems, or other Technical degree
• Familiarity with software testing, scripting, designing, and developing
• Familiarity with test automation tooling such as, Selenium, Katalon, TestComplete, Junit, Nunit, Cucumber, Specflow
• Experience with one of the leading PLM Systems – Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia, Agile. Prefer to have Windchill experience in modules like PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink
• Ability to develop Training materials for business users
• Readiness to perform manual testing in case Automation is not possible or applicable

Technical Skills
• Working knowledge of version control systems such as GIT & SVN
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot application issues
• Working understanding of development language, such as Java or Python
• Working understanding of defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA

• Understanding of Agile methodology
Nice to Have
• Experience with scripting languages, Groovy, Ruby, Python, Bash/CSH/SH, Powershell
• Participated in the development of DevOps leading practices implementing CI/CD
• Experience with API tools such as PostMan, Swagger, SoapUI
• Development experience using Java, Python
