Introduction:
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing the components required for integration of various desktop applications (vendor / in -house) with CRM technologies thereby building improved process workflows to enhance banker productivity.
She or he will be a lead developer responsible for all aspects of the development process, including technical design, implementation, code-reviews, testing, production deployment, and support.
This is a challenging role requiring strong technical skills and problem solving abilities well suited for a candidate who is motivated by the opportunity to build quality solutions in a technical environment. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a fantastic opportunity to work within a driven, like-minded team using a mix of technologies
What will you be doing?
• Agile development using Visual Studio
• Development of a collaborative platform for pitchbook creation using MS Tools like O365 and integrate with inhouse applications like banking CRM , presbuilder etc
• Design of appropriate solutions within defined remit
• Producing SOLID code with excellent test coverage
• Delivering solutions within a DevOps environment with a relentless focus on automation of testing and deployment via internal testing frameworks
• Full participation in agile software delivery process backed by Jira/Git/Bitbucket tooling with strong emphasis on code reviews and team collaboration
What we're looking for:
• Keen attention to detail with a disciplined focus on documentation
• Experience with interpreting and expressing financial models in a programmatic form.
• Resilience to help drive change in the bank, challenging the status-quo.
• Enthusiasm to help bring technology and the business closer together.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• 10 + years of experience managing small team of developers leading delivery on strategic projects
• Professional C# experience using version 7 and above with .Net 4.6.2 and above
• Proficient in Process Automation, Workflow Optimisation, Data Catalogues and Enterprise Architecture Design
• Experience with client server communication, web services, protocols and security using SOAP and REST
• Ability to write automated unit tests and work with Legacy code
• Willingness to learn – be it the business processes, current techniques or new programming language paradigms
• Good communication skills and ability to participate in technical discussions within the development team, communicating any issues that have a project-wide scope to the necessary level
• Experience of working as a developer in both collaborative and independent environments
• A good understanding of software development life cycle.
• Awareness of design patterns best practices, attention to detail
