Job Description
DISA Technologies is seeking a skilled Machine Building Design Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Solidwork and a strong background in mechanical design and looking for an immediate joiner.
Responsibilities:
• Creation of detailed drawings from 3D Solid works assembly and AutoCAD drawings.
• Conversion of 2D drawings to 3D models using Solid Works.
• Conversion of 2D Assembly drawings to 3D and create assembly drawings using 3D parts.
• Identify and solve the interference in assembly drawings in 3D.
• Preparation and verification of the bill of materials (BOM) in ERP.
• Design and validate the Instruction Manual contents.
• Work on new product designs and product modifications to meet the needs of the customer.
• Material selection and calculations.
• Follow design guidelines, standards, norms as specified by Noricangroup practices and maintain drawings quality to meet global requirements.
• On time design release as per the planned schedules.
• Completion of design work within the targeted hours.
• Visit customer sites for product installation analysis, testing, and troubleshooting as and when required.
• Effective maintenance of database.
• International cooperation and communication during projects.
Qualifications.
Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute with good academic record.
Experience:
Min. 3 years of hands-on experience in Solid Works, AutoCAD / Draft site & PDM, familiar with using Microsoft office tools and Machine Design background experience is preferred. Knowledge of GD&T and engineering formulas is essential. ISO & CE safety norms is an added advantage.
General Competencies:
• Good in Engineering basics.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience in working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge on GD&T.
• Design knowledge on weldments, fabrication etc.
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinker, Innovative Approach.
• MS office user level knowledge.
• Time management.
• Good team player.
