• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering changes by following Agile practices into the Global Pricing Tool application, ensuring Barclays standards are adhered to and exceeded and that all project requirements are met. In addition, as a senior developer they will be responsible for supporting and managing junior development team members to ensure the continual growth of the team and identification and implementation of development process improvements and innovations.
What will you be doing?
• Application development by following Agile practices
• Work closely with the peers within / outside team
• Enhance and improve application development capability
• Highlight risk and issues via effective control and Standard Barclays processes.
• Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirement and Barclays policies and standards
• Actively participate in internal initiatives outside project work (for example, adoption of new tools and internal process improvements)
What we're looking for:
• He/She should be Graduate / Post graduate
• Hands on experience with Microsoft.Net, C#, MVC, Web Services, Web API, DotNet Core, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3
• Prior experience in RestFul services a big plus.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Pricing different products
• Experience with relational database systems, including schema design, SQL and stored procedures
• Strong general development practices e.g. OOAD, design patterns, continuous integration, unit testing
• Well versed with Agile Process
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Prior experience in RestFul services a big plus.
• Experience with relational database systems, including schema design, SQL and stored procedures
• Strong general development practices e.g. design patterns, continuous integration, unit testing
• Well versed with Agile Process
• Experience in DevOps implementation and ability to continually identify automation and integration opportunities to continuous improvement in application development processes.
